1st Image and Text Book 7

This Reads " Snow White's stitching up your circuit-boards
Someone's slipping through the hidden door
Snow White's stitching up your circuit-board."

Here it is again just photographer differently.

I feel like some of the beauty of the images gets lost in the photos of photos.

  1. This is your most successful book so far I think. Is she under water in the beginning? That is how I see it, and I love that you staged and/or doctored that scenario. Your photographs are beautifully done.

I only wish there was a way I could have known for sure in the end if she was running to go find her long lost love who she was thinking about in the spell-like state or if she was happily enjoying her new, independent, spell-free life without Ken the bastard. This is a tricky part to the ending of your story.

  2. Dear Beth,

I also think this is your most successful book! Yay! Personally, I don't mind the ambivalent ending... So what for the next step? In a later post, I will talk more about type and image relationships overall.

  3. Really nice, I agree with both Jen and Prof. Lee that this is your best book. I would suggest you that you somehow get the text onto the pages, instead of cutting and pasting. Your pictures are very clear and reflect the text well.

  4. Beth, this is amazing! I got the image of her running was that she was running away from the bad past and into, hopefully, a better, more independent life. The images and text really work well together, good job!
